A chance to deeply unwind.
1 hour 45 minutes of deep relaxation.
Starting with gentle Yin to ease stiffness and physical tension.
Moving into a classical Nidra to bring the thoughts to a slower pace.
Lastly in a deep restful pose washing sounds of crystal bowls takes us to further dreamy rest.
No previous experience required; you do not need to know yoga or to have explored Nidra before.
Nidra is a unique process- the teacher guides your mind through instructions which include visualisations and the movement of awareness around the body and onto different themes. You stay alert during this phase and simply observe the instructions and follow the voice. You are being guided to a deeper level of relaxation that we only usually experience in deep sleep. Crystal bowls are the last part of the session, where some participants may have drifted off into light sleep.
